How it works...
In this recipe, we created a security profile within the Amazon developer portal and configured it as a Cognito identity pool with a federated login. Amazon and most other identity providers require us to invoke them only from authorized domains that are HTTPS enabled and, hence, we will need a domain with HTTPS for this recipe. We created an HTML file with JavaScript code to do the required login process. A detailed explanation of the JavaScript code is beyond the scope of this book.
