So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
First, we will create a parameter in the AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store. Then, we will attach a role that's necessary for accessing the AWS Systems Manager from an EC2 instance. Finally, we will retrieve the parameter's information from that EC2 instance.
