So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Customizing workflows with triggers
We can customize Cognito workflows with AWS Lambda functions that trigger in response to various events. The following are the triggers currently available: Pre sign-up, Pre authentication, Custom message, Post authentication, Post confirmation, Define Auth Challenge, Create Auth Challenge, Verify Auth Challenge Response, User Migration, and Pre Token Generation.
We can configure AWS Lambda functions as triggers from the Triggers tab of our user pool:
