In this recipe, we used our own ACM certificate and used it as a CNAME that was configured at an outside DNS provider so that it could use a subdomain to access our web page in the S3 bucket. Instead, we can use Route 53 to manage the DNS for our domain and point a top-level domain to our CloudFront distribution.
