I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
We'll need two working AWS accounts to complete this recipe. We will call them log account and logger account. The logger account will send logs to the log account.
Log in to the logger account, which is where logs will be sent, and take note of its account number. The account number can be found in the Support Center. We can go to the Support Center from the Support dropdown, which can be found in the top right corner of our AWS dashboard:
We also need to set up CloudTrail in the log account, which is where all the logs will be stored. We can do this by following the Creating a trail in CloudTrail recipe of this chapter.
