I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Axis 3 – Automation
The third and final cloud native principle is about automation. Throughout this chapter, the other CNMM principles have been discussed in detail and explained, particularly why using cloud native services and application centric design enable cloud native architectures to achieve scale. However, these alone do not allow a system to really take advantage of the cloud. If a system were designed using the most advanced services available, but the operational aspects of the application were done manually, it would have a hard time realizing its intended purpose.
