I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting up a Weather Service Account
In order to get the latest weather information, our microservice will invoke APIs from a third-party weather service, OpenWeatherMap (https://openweathermap.org). So, go to the URL and create a new, free account. Once you have created an account, go to your account settings and note down the API key from the following option:
The API keys tab
This key will be used to authenticate our API calls to the OpenWeatherMap service.
