I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we focused on AWS and its capabilities based on the CNMM described earlier. So, in line with that, we focused on understanding the core AWS capabilities around building cloud-native architectures and effectively operating in your applications in that environment. We then dived deep into a sample serverless microservice application, leveraging various key AWS services and frameworks. Finally, we understood the principles around DevOps and DevSecOps and how those translated to various different application architectures ranging from deploying on Amazon EC2, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, and the Amazon EC2 Container Service.
