I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CNMM
Now that we understand what the Netflix journey was about and how they benefited from that journey, this section will use the CNMM to evaluate how that journey unfolded and where they stand on the maturity model. Since they have been most vocal about the work they did to migrate their billing and payment system to AWS, that is the workload that will be used for this evaluation. That system consisted of batch jobs, billing APIs, and integrations, with other services in their composite application stack, including an on-premises data center at the time.
