Customer managed products
In the case of customer managed products, the ISV has chosen to either create or migrate their existing product to a cloud-based model. Often, this means the vendor has taken significant steps to adopt cloud native architectures themselves and then sell their product to the end customer. In its simplest form, the product has been tested with one or more cloud vendors to ensure it works as intended, ensuring that the customer can install and configure it in a similar manner as doing so on-premises. Examples of this approach would be SAP or various Oracle products.
