I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Refactor
Refactor is the process of redesigning the workload to be cloud native. This type of migration pattern is, in essence, a rewrite of the application to align with the CNMM discussion in Chapter 1, Introducing Cloud Native Architecture, add automation, and architect the application to have a cloud native design. While rehost and replatform are more aligned to what is usually thought of as a migration, refactoring an application during the migration process is becoming increasingly popular as companies realize that lift-and-shift movement to the cloud will not let them realize the benefits from their business case.
