A cyber-physical system (CPS) uses information technology (IT)/data manipulation tasks to inter-
act with a physical area that can be impacted and from which data can be collected (Figure 9.1).
CPSs have data-collecting devices that gather important information from a physical region and
feed it to embedded processing devices for analysis. e analysis then determines the proper action
