It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

都限制了它的受众范围。
而现实是，很高兴我们在那两方面的设想都错了。
让我们感到惊喜的是，在相当长的一段时间里，第一本
SRE
书是计算机领域的绝对
畅销书。不仅如此，大家在购买或下载了以后，也并未将其束之高阁，而是真的去读了。
我们收到了来自全球各地的问题，有关于这本书的，也有关于我们团队的，有的是
关于具体实践的，有的是关于他们的工作成果的。我们也曾受邀去讲述书中的章节、
方法和事故。这些简直是太出乎意料了，但因为时间实在是排不开，后来我们不得
不谢绝外部的邀约。

讲吧！”），要么采取更具扩展性的推广方式。作为

，我们选择了后者，一定
很少有读者会惊讶吧！我们决定写第二本

书（即本书），深度讲解那些我们最
常受邀讲述的内容和第一本书中读者们最常提出的问题。
