When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In some cases, all of the aforementioned development boards are overkill and what you really want is a boxed kit with some buttons and a screen. Various companies sell internet-connected buttons, so-called smart buttons, which have only one function: when you press the button, the device sends a request to a web server and therefore something happens. Use cases are versatile—with a press, you might order a product on Amazon directly (https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=17729534011), without the need to go through the whole process in a web shop.
Other smart buttons might be used for the elderly as an emergency button—pressing one will call an ambulance to an address that was set up previously (https://flic.io/).
