I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Visual Studio Code on Windows
On Windows, you should download the user installer; in most cases, the 64-bit version. If you are not sure whether you're running a 32- or 64-bit operating system, you can have a look in the system settings:
- Click on the Windows Start button.
- Navigate to Settings | System | About.
- In Device specification, you can see whether you are running a 32- or 64-bit operating system.
Download the user installer that fits your operating system and execute the .exe file when done. Follow the installation instructions from the installer.
