How to choose the best QoS
You might think now that using QoS 2 is the best option, so you always know for sure that every message is delivered correctly. It's not that easy. You can put QoS 0, 1, and 2 on a scale. On the left-hand side of the scale is maximum performance; on the right-hand side, maximum reliability. QoS 0 is on the outer far-left side, being the fastest of the three, and the easiest to handle for the server. QoS 2 is the other extreme on the right-hand side. It is the most reliable option. QoS 1 is somewhere in the middle. While it supports offline delivery, and therefore the server needs to keep track of whether each message has been delivered correctly, it is not as reliable as QoS 2.
