Security
REST APIs may expose resources that contain secure information intended to be revealed only to restricted clients, and the following rules help to secure resources:
- Use OAuth, an HTTP-based authorization protocol, to protect resources
- Use API management solutions, such as reverse proxy, to protect resources
We've provided a sample implementation as an example in the next chapter.
