It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Technical requirements
As we'll discuss a few prominent frameworks based on the Java, Python, and Go (programming) languages, having a basic understanding in one or more programming languages would enable readers of this chapter to jumpstart their RESTful API development with one or more of their favorite frameworks. This chapter serves as reference material as well as a technical guide for those who have a minimum understanding of any of these three programming languages.
