As we know, the JAX-RS reference implementation Jersey is open source; it comes with its native API toolkit to simplify the development of RESTful web services and their clients in Java. Jersey also exposes numerous extension SPIs (software platform infrastructure as a services model). Dropwizard bundles Jersey as its RESTful web app framework and helps developers to write clean code, providing testable classes that gracefully map HTTP requests to simple Java objects that streaming output, matrix URI parameters, conditional GET requests, and so on.
