It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Filters
Revel has independent functions called filters. Filters help to implement horizontal concerns, such as request-logging, cookie policies, and authorization. Filters are middleware, and most of Revel's built-in functionalities and request-processing functionalities are filters. They are interfaces that allow them to be nested.
