I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Legacy integration
We've inherited a lot from the mainframe era. We have a number of legacy applications running in various industry verticals. Banking applications are still running legacy code. No one can dispute that the mainframe computer gives the highest performance. Typically, legacy applications follow the monolithic architecture. Also, legacy applications are massive. There are several other drawbacks associated with the legacy era. Still, due to their unique capabilities, enterprises are pretty slow to modernize their legacy investments.
