So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Technical requirements
There are no special technical requirements for this chapter as it doesn't talk about designing, developing, or deploying a software package. Other chapters describe how RESTful APIs for microservices are being designed and used. Further on, a few chapters explain the nitty-gritty of producing standalone and utility-like RESTful services for application and data integration. API design techniques and best practices are also covered in detail in this book. This chapter throws more light on how the enigmatic RESTful paradigm is going to be a trendsetter for the forthcoming era of a software-defined world.
