The electro-oxidation of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole on

a copper substrate in an alkaline methanol solution

produces a homogeneous and adherent polymer ﬁlm

[83]. The thickness of the polymer ﬁlm is about a

few µm. However, the current efﬁciency of the elec-

tropolymerization process is weak because of the for-

mation of oligomers and the oxidation of the elec-

trolyte.
