For blending PPE with resin systems that involve
curing or polymerization reactions, including radical
reactions, it is desirable to operate with a PPE that con-
tains residual aliphatic unsaturation and capped phe-
nolic end groups at the same time. In order to achieve
convenient distribution in another matrix, the PPE-
type should exhibit a low viscosity.
