PA/PPE alloys have conventionally been used for

various applications such as automotive exterior mate-

rials, junction blocks in automobile engine room, a nd

parts around lamps.

When conventional resin compositions are used for

parts around automotive lamps or parts around liquid

crystal projector lamps, low-molecular-weight com-

ponents may be generated during heating. These prod-

ucts may precipitate on the inner wall of the glass and

can cause a fogging.

A PA/PPE resin composition using a PA with a spe-

ciﬁc alicyclic structure and a compatibilizer can solve

these problems [77].
