When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Speakers
Immersive experience without sound is incomplete. The HoloLens device has two built-in speakers attached just above the position of your ears. They are placed in a position such that they seem to be floating in front of your ears, and thus it doesn't block out the sound of the real world, unlike headphones. This is the beauty of having these speakers. The sounds produced by these speakers are floating surround sound, and give your ears the feel of hearing things in real 3D Space. This is what is called Spatial Sounds, which means that sound is adjusted for both ears such that sounds appear to be originating from a certain direction and distance.
