Questo titolo di solito implica che il candidato voleva un titolo di direttore/ vicepresidente/esecutivo ma l'organizzazione ha rifiutato di estendere il titolo. Utilizzando questo tipo di offuscamento, il candidato appare di livello superiore agli occhi degli interlocutori esterni, senza però offendere le circoscrizioni interne.
