Choosing the right pull system is an important part of Lean implementation.
Type A Pull System
Type A systems are the most common and require replenishing or plugging
gaps created in the finished goods or parts store when the customer with-
draws a part or product. Kanban cards provide the production authorization
and sequence through a heijunka box.
The finished goods store is located at the end of the production line.
The size of our finished goods store depends on the rates of production
and withdrawal. All parts required to make the goods are stored in the
