There is no surefire way to deal with “problem people.” As a general principle, having structure helps. It can also be helpful to give group members a list of desirable and undesirable role descriptions prior to the meeting. Table A1-2 is a list of typical group members. Although stated in jest, each description has a ring of truth in it.
