Personal Effectiveness in Team Environments (PETE) is a Web-based peer evaluation system that enables students to give each other anonymous feedback on their team skills. The method is simple and completely automated. At the end of each academic quarter, students sign on to a Web page and provide anonymous feedback to their teammates by rating each other on 10 key criteria related to improving team-based outcomes (defined by Kellogg's Organization Behavior Department). The computer then compiles mean and standard deviation scores for each student.
