mysql_ssl_rsa_setup – creating SSL/RSA files

As the name suggests, this program is for generating SSL certificates and key files and RSA key-pair files, if those files are missing and files are required to support secure connections. mysql_ssl_rsa_setup can also be used to create new files if any of the existing ones have expired.

The Openssl command is used by mysqlssl_rsa_setup, so using it is necessary to have OpenSSL installed on your machine. To generate these files automatically by the server, it can use MySQL distributions compiled using OpenSSL, which is another way to generate SSL and RSA files.

Execute mysql_ssl_rsa_setup , as shown here:
