So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Replication system tables
These tables are useful to support the replication feature. It helps to store replication related information when it is configured to as mentioned in following tables. The following tables are available in this category:
- gtid_executed: Used for creating the table for storing GTID values
- ndb_binlog_index: Provides the binary log information for MySQL Cluster replication
- slave_master_info, slave_relay_log_info and slave_worker_info: Used to store replication information on slave servers
