So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Single server dependancy
In any case, if the master database server fails we can easily switch our database connection to the replicated slave server to provide stability in critical situations. This includes if there is network failure, server failure, hardware issues, and many more reasons for failure.
