It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Data retrieval and transactions
MySQL supports each of the transactions that can be mapped, as it is committed on the master server and applied on the slave server. This method is not referring to binlog files or the relevant position in the binlog file. GTID replication is solely working based on transactions; it becomes very easy to identify whether the master and the slave servers are in sync or not.
