So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
If you have not yet installed the Matrix packages, you should do so now using the following code:

If you completed the prior recipe, Downloading social network data using public APIs, and have the meetup_users.Rdata file, you can use it. Otherwise, you can download that data file from the book's website and place it in your R working directory.
