ている。使いたいコンポーネントを見つけ、キャンバスにドラッグすれば、インターフェイスに設定
されたUIコンポーネントを配置できる。たとえば、フォームにパスワードフィールドを追加したい場
合は、「Text Fields」カテゴリ（図12-3参照）のパスワードフィールドをキャンバスにドラッグする。
XMLを見れば、
ems
（テキストサイズを決めるプロパティ）にデフォルト値がセットされ、
inputType
に
textPassword
（ユーザーが入力した値をマスクする）がセットされていることがわかる。

キャンバス
キャンバスは、パレットからウィジェットをドラッグアンドドロップして、UIをデザインする場所
である。キャンバスは、追加されたウィジェットに基づいてリアルタイムでアプリケーションのプレ
ビューをレンダリングする。そのあとで、コンフィグレーションチューザ（「12.6 コンフィグレーショ
ンチューザ」参照）を使って複数の画面サイズ、向き、その他さまざまな形でアプリケーションを表示
し、プレビューに変更を加えていく。
