8.1
位置とルートのシミュレーション
たとえば、位置のテストは非常に難しい。遠い位置に実際に行ったり、まったく同じ道を何度も何
度もシミュレートするのは、現実的ではないか、不可能だ。幸い、DDMSツールを使えば、エミュレー
タにシミュレートさせたい位置（緯度/経度を使う）、パス（経路。GPX やKMLを使う）を指定できる。
位置をシミュレートするには、DDMSツール（「10.2.1 DDMS パースペクティブを開く」参照）を
開く必要がある。DDMSパースペクティブは、「Window」→「Open Perspective...」→「Other...」→
「DDMS」→「OK」で開く。
次に、「Emulator
Control」タブを開く（図8-1参照）。このタブには、「Location Controls」という
部分があるので、そこに位置属性を入力する。データを入力したら、「Send」、「Load GPX」、「Load
KML」のどれかのボタンを押す（どのタイプのデータを操作しているかによって変わる）。こうすると、
エミュレータは指定した位置をシミュレートする。
