Using the IDC for Delivering Information
The IDC is an Internet Services API (ISAPI) application that simplifies the creation of active Web pages. These Web pages automatically deliver updated information and let users process queries against any database for which a 32-bit ODBC driver is available. ISAPI applications use Windows dynamic link libraries (DLLs) as a substitute for the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) applications (scripts) originally developed for UNIX Web servers. ISAPI runs only on Microsoft's Internet Information Server and Personal Web Server.
