Many word-processing documents are a collection of individual paragraphs, each of which can change depending on the purpose of the document. If the document is a contract, many of the paragraphs are likely to be boilerplate: standard paragraphs that are added based on the jurisdiction and purpose of the contract and relationship between the parties.
