So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding and Removing SQL Server Data Sources
An ODBC data source for a client/server RDBMS is a definition of a database—including the name of the server on which the RDBMS and database is located, the name of the ODBC driver required to connect to the database, and, optionally, the name of the database. You need at least one SQL Server data source to enable Access to attach, export, or import SQL Server tables. You can use Control Panel's ODBC Administrator tool or Access's built-in ODBC data source feature to create SQL Server data sources.
