Importing and Reorganizing Worksheet Data
Worksheets created by Excel and other spreadsheet applications often contain data that is suitable for processing with relational database techniques. The worksheet usually is organized for viewing the data quickly; however, this organization seldom is appropriate for data manipulation by an RDBMS.
STK_20_1 (described in the next section) is an example of a worksheet that is formatted for viewing data.
