Marian Breeze saw the potential and gave me unflagging encouragement during the writing of the first edition and the editing of the second. Initially, Marian was going to play a much larger role in the creation of this book; however, motherhood intervened, and she needed to direct her energies to caring for her family. Still, Marian faithfully read my drafts during this busy period in her life when she had precious little extra time. She generously provided thoughtful comments and asked insightful questions.
