Let me show you just how much of an untapped goldmine LinkedIn content is …
Out of all of the regular active LinkedIn users using it on a monthly basis, only 1% share content on a weekly basis. Yes, you read that right, 1%! Of the 260 million LinkedIn members in 2019 who were using LinkedIn on a regular basis, only 1% of them were sharing content.
How insane is that?
Content (done right) generates inbound leads, generates outbound opportunities, grows your personal brand and can help you build and grow relationships.
What's even crazier than just 1% of LinkedIn users creating content is that MOST of the content being published on LinkedIn isn't any good! It's advertisement‐focused content that not only offers very little value to the reader, but that also doesn't generate any engagement. I'll dig into this a bit more in the 80/20 section.
The best part though?
Once you understand how to do it right, it's not even that difficult.
In fact, you don't even have to spend a lot of time doing it.
