It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Sets the Distinguished Name used by Samba when contacting the LDAP
server. Requires Samba to be configured with the
--with-ldapsam configuration option. Experimental
option added in Samba 2.2.3 and obsolete in Samba 3.0.
