It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Synopsis
Allowable values: interface list
Default: NULL (all interfaces except 127.0.0.1)
Sets the interfaces to which Samba will respond. The default is the
system’s primary interface only. Recommended on
multihomed systems or to override erroneous addresses and netmasks.
Allows interface names such as eth0, DNS names,
address/netmask pairs, and broadcast/netmask pairs. See also
bind interfaces only.
