So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abstract
Albedo is a key parameter that is widely used in land surface energy balance studies, mid-to-long-term weather prediction, and global climate change investigation. Remote sensing is an effective way to map the land surface albedo on both the regional and global scales. This chapter first presents the consideration of light incidence and reflection angles to the calculation of surface albedo. Then, the retrieval method of spectral albedo based on bidirectional reflectance models inversion and narrowband-to-broadband albedo conversion is discussed.
