The diagram on the following pages lays out the subject of this chapter: the development process map (DPM) for preproduction (Figure 1.1) and production (Figure 1.2). This visual model is used to guide the game development process for audio preproduction and production. In this chapter I will describe each of the elements of the DPM using a sample project.
