No doubt about it, game audio has come a long way from the bleeps and bloops of the primitive audio synthesis in early titles. However, we still have a long way to go. To see how we can take game audio to the next level, I will now paint an ideal picture for all games, and then establish parameters of audio perfection for each game genre. If these ideals can be achieved, game audio will certainly be given more respect. Let this be my final word before I sign off.
