WHITE BALANCE, is one aspect that beginners new to photography often have difficulty understanding. Colour is an important part of our lives, it enriches our visual experience of the world; without it we would be deprived of so much beauty. From the moment we wake up we encounter light in many different colours and forms. Most of the time we are oblivious to its nuances since our visual system automatically adjusts to the many variations in colour temperature. Unlike our eyes, the image sensor in a camera sees it differently and requires our input to ensure it records as faithfully as possible what we see.
