WHETHER TO SHOOT RAW or JPEG is a question that crosses the mind of most photographers at some point. The three most commonly used in-camera file formats are JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group), TIFF (Tagged Image Format) and RAW, which is an in-camera lossless format.
